Montessori activities for toddlers (3)

Derin has been enjoying these Montessori activities recently. He is just about 18 months old now. For the last few weeks we have been observing a great development with Derin. He is  definitely a calmer boy who can communicate better. He is also able to concentrate for longer.
This punch and drop toy is a new favorite. I chose to buy this because he LOVES banging things :) Apart from being an outlet for his banging intuition, this is great for hand-eye coordination and teaching them about object permanence.

Knobbed puzzles are a great hit at the moment. He chooses these to play with at the playgroups that we attend to.

These stacking cubes have been one of the most played with toys. I bought them when my daughter was 1 year old and they are still in good condition. Toddlers love stacking them and then knocking them down. I think this is a great toy before introducing them to the pink tower and the brown stairs.

sorry about the blurry photo, he was just about to knock it over and I couldn't manage to take a photo with him sitting still :)

happily shared with Montessori Monday and It's Playtime

PS:I will be back with a review and a giveaway tomorrow, so stay tuned!
