Book Sharing Monday:Winnie the Witch

Winnie the Witch by Valerie Thomas and Korky Paul

We discovered Winnie the Witch last summer when a friend of mine gave  one of these books to Defne as a present. Winnie the Witch lives with is black cat  Wilbur and they always have great adventures. The stories are fun and engaging. The illustrations are superb with lots of details to enjoy, most of them  lurking so you enjoy a new detail every time you read the book.
We loved this book so much that we bought the 6 in 1 box edition a few weeks ago.
I highly recommend these books to children over 3 years old. You can visit Winnie at this website and read extracts from the books.

What have you been reading and enjoying with your children lately? I would love it if you come and share with us. Feel free to grab my button (on the right hand side) and share the love.

  3. So funny you should post this today - we just got back from our holiday and each night we read a different Winnie story for bedtime. It's an old favourite for our 5yo but Little Miss who is 2 absolutely loved them as well - she's been "retelling" the stories today on our journey home - so cute.

    Anyway, a superb choice! :)
