Book Sharing Monday:What's in the Witch's Kitchen?

We love Nick Sharatt's books here (I have written about them here and here) Just in time for Halloween I chose What is in the Witch's Kitchen for the Book Sharing Monday.

The witch has hidden a trick and a treat in her magical kitchen cupboards! And the child gets to find out what they are by lifting the flaps. A fun rhyming spooky book!

What have you been reading and enjoying with your children lately? I would love it if you come and share with us. Feel free to grab my button (on the right hand side) and share the love.

  1. Aah flaps! Always a winner, and more robust, generally speaking, than full on pop up books.

  2. We love Nick Sharatt too, our favourite is Foggy Foggy Forest! We haven't read the Witches Kitchen yet, so will have to keep an eye out for it. It looks fun.

  3. That looks like a great Halloween pick! We'll have to try it out, as the boys are already hyped up about the upcoming festivities!

  4. Thank you for another great recommendation. I am so bummed. None of our local libraries carry this book! I may have to just purchase this one sight unseen. Between your recommendation and flaps, witches, and Halloween, it's bound to be a hit here!
