Festive Sensory Tray for Children

The kids have been enjoying playing/ exploring this tray for the past week or so. I put strips of tissue paper, pompoms, pine cones, feathers, pipe cleaners, scraps of ribbons, sticks, some aluminum foil (which they enjoyed shaping into balls) and some glittery craft materials. Keeps my son (23 months) busy while I am cooking the dinner ; )

  1. Wonderful. Nothing quite like a sensory tray for wee ones!

  2. This is great. I create multi-age sensory and activity tubs for my kids quite often. But, this gives me an idea. I'm going to start a box to collect all the tiny toys, interesting scraps, and whatever bits and bobs I find when I pick up at night. When the box is full, I'll have an eclectic bin for them to explore!
