Montessori activities for toddlers (5)

Derin has just turned two last week! My baby is a big boy now. He also started to Montessori nursery. He coped really well on his first day at the nursery and seems to enjoy it.
He has entered into a stage where he loves sitting down at the table and doing some activities. He spends quite some time doing these nowadays.

I showed him how to pour beans from one jug to another:

Posting little wooden buttons in a coin box

You could also use play money or big buttons and a slotted lidded box/jar.

Matching lollipop sticks with match sticks:

He wasn't quite interested with this one.

While we were busy with these, Defne (5yo) enjoyed playing with the sensory oatmeal tray.

Happily shared with Montessori Monday

  3. These are wonderful! My little boy is a couple months older than yours, but he would enjoy these trays too. I would love for you to share this post at What's on the Tray Wednesday!

  8. I hope Derin is loving his experiences at the Montessori nursery. It looks like he does very well with Montessori-oriented activities, and it's wonderful that he's used to them from your work with him at home! :) Deb @ LivingMontessoriNow.com
