Book Sharing Monday:Meet Einstein

Meet Einstein  (by Mariela Leiner, illustrated by Viviana Garofoli) must be one of the best science books aimed at preschoolers. It is such an engaging book we can't put it down.

It is simple  and clear with wonderful illustrations. Whilst telling a little bit about Einstein, the book also simply talks about gravity and light. It also gives the message that the children can an also be a scientist just like Einstein.
I also love the  first and last pages of the book. These pages are like an illustrated dictionary and  shed light to some basic tools used in science.
I think this is a great book for children aged 3-5 and a book I would happily give as a gift.
The book also has a website including some activity pages.

What have you been reading with your children recently? I would love for you to share with us.
If you are new here, please check out the Book Sharing Monday page above.

  4. I just found this carnival via Hobo Mama. Thanks for the recommendation and for hosting the links! My son is 7 now, but last week I wrote about some books he loved when he was a bit younger and still likes to hear sometimes, so I have linked that post.
