Review: Skeanie Shoes

We were recently sent a pair of Skeanie Shoes to review.

We all know that shoes are very important during childhood as the children's feet continue to develop past babyhood. At birth, feet are mostly cartilage and the last bone doesn’t form until the child is about 3 years old. Even throughout childhood, their feet are soft and pliable, making them prone to damage from abnormal pressure, such as ill-fitting shoes.

When the Skeanie Shoes arrived,I was so surprised bu how soft they are. They are just like the infant shoes babies wear when they are toddling.
Actually this makes Skeanie different from other shoes. They use super-soft,non-toxic eco leather.Shoes are wide at the toes, mimicking the infant foot - growing toes need room to spread, wiggle and balance.Lightweight and very flexible sole made from rubber, designed to protect the foot but allow for sensory feedback from the ground. Perfect for running, jumping and exploring!

Derin  (2.5yo)  is quite opinionated about what he wears. We always say that he will be a designer one day ;) We received these Sneakies in Navy.

He loves his shoes. He says that they look like daddy's shoes ;-)
As a parent, I must say I am impressed with the quality of these shoes. They are very stylish and apparently very comfortable, too.
You can buy Skeanie shoes online (they have a size chart that is very helpful) or from stockists around the country.

Disclosure:We received these shoes for review purposes. All opinion my own.
