The Children's Bookshelf {Discovering Richard Scarry}

We have recently discovered some Richard Scarry books at our library.

Planes and Rockets and Things that Fly, Cars and Trucks and Things that Go and A Day at the Fire Station are packed full of detailed illustrations that my kids love exploring. Having said that my little guy,obsessed with vehicles enjoys them most.  What are your kids' favourite books about vehicles?

The Children's Bookshelf is co-hosted by What Do We Do All Day, No Twiddle Twaddle, Smiling like Sunshine, Mouse Grows Mouse Learns , Mommy and Me Book Club and My Little Bookcase.

  2. My two LOVED Richard Scarry, and I still do! Many hundreds of hours were spent enjoying the detailed illustrations and visual jokes. He was a very clever, inventive book-creator.

  5. We love Richard Scarry so much. We had Richard Scarry's Best Storybook Ever and I loved the little brown bear going to bed.
