Review:Barefoot Books Christmas Gifts {Giveaway Inside}

We have been lucky enough to have received some  books by Barefoot Books. I love the books published by Barefoot Books because they are always beautifully illustrated with an emphasis on a multicultural society. I love giving books as a gift and Barefoot Books has some wonderful book sets for Christmas.Their website is very user friendly so you can choose book according to age groups, subjects, gift sets etc.
We received the Yoga Pretzels Gift Set that contain Yoga Cards and My Daddy is a Pretzel.

We all know that yoga is healthy both for the body and mind. In winter, during the colder months when we don't have the opportunity to play in the great outdoors, doing yoga is a great way to keep the children (and ourselves!) active.
The yoga cards are colour coded and very easy to use.They are clear and nicely illustrated, appealing for both children and adults. Children can use the cards independently as well. I can also see that many teachers would find these cards very practical to use in a classroom.

My Daddy is a Pretzel is a picture book telling about yoga poses in a casual way. Derin loves reading this book with Daddy and posing like a tree.

We also received The Princess and The Pea. Now, we all know the fairy tale but this book is so charming with beautiful illustrations, by Miss Clara. Both myself and Defne (6yo) were delighted with the beauty of this book.

The book also contains a CD.
It can be bought on its own or you may choose The World of Miss Clara containing The Princess and the Pea, The Snow Queen and the Twelve Dancing Princesses.

I personally really like the books published by Barefoot  Books and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for great books to share with their children. Barefoot Books also have some free family fun activities online. These include story-themed crafts,podcasts and videos. You can check them out at www.barefootbooks.com/kids/
