Print making using vegetables

This morning we set out to print making using vegetables:

We had he butt end of a celery stalk which I thought would make lovely patterns, piece of brocolli, a celery stalk, an onion and a carrot. Using vegetables as an art medium is a nice change I suppose, plus you can also talk about vegetables (eg smell,taste,colour etc).

She loved it so much that
using the onion
 ...before I knew it the whole table was full of paintings!

and they were so pretty!

this is the one she made using the end butt of the celery stalk

  8. This looks fun. Potato prints are great too. I remember carving a stamp out of a potato when I was a kid. I don't remember what I made now.

    I'm thinking we may have to get out our paints and vegies today!
