Book Sharing Monday

Finally, we feel like summer is here in the UK. It is still a bit rainy some days but at least it is warm and we have sunny spells after the rain. We try to spent more time outdoors so this book was a perfect find at a charity shop last week.

It is a First Nature Book published by Usborne. It has got some basic informmation about birds, flowers, trees, leaves and some mini beasts. Beautiful illustrations and lots of little nature projects for young children. Defne decided to press some flowers from the garden after reading about it in the book. Now,she can't wait for three more weeks until the flowers get completely dry :)
Have you got a favorite children's book about nature? Please share in the comments.

What have you been reading with your kids lately? I would love for you to share in the linky.

  1. Thanks for hosting Book Sharing Monday again. I can't think of a favorite book about nature right now, but I do want to read RACHEL CARSON AND HER BOOK THAT CHANGED THE WORLD: http://www.amazon.com/Rachel-Carson-Book-Changed-World/dp/0823423700. Happy Monday!

  5. Ah the books looks lovely as always! My kids love this Usborne series of books. I think they are cute, but I (!) do prefer books written by individuals, rather the large publishers (if that makes sense??)

  8. I have been reading to my son: The Night before kindergarten every night. He is starting Pre-K at the beginning of September and is kind of scared. I am hoping that his fears are released by talking with him about this book and just talking with him.
