I have colloborated with some of my fellow bloggers and we are delighted to bring you The Huge Family  Gift Guide that is bursting with fabulous gift ideas.

6.A play with a shadow: Suitable for older childrenfor developing dimensional vision, logical thinking and fantasy

7.Charley Harper Memory Game A beautifully designed memory game designed by Charley Harper.

8.Tap-a-shape hammer and nail play set: Develps creativity and fine motor skills. Children love hammering!

  1. Lovely toys, I might have to buy the salt tray!

  2. My son (almost 3 years old) has a car track very similar to the one at the bottom of this list. He loves it. The imaginative play that has come with that track has been great. Definitely a great toy.

  3. This is a great list, Isil, thank you! We have several of the items listed and love them, so I can only imagine that the others are great, too. I especially love the Plan Toys beehive, as does my 2.5 year old.

  4. Thanks so much for this! Very helpful. Pinning.

  5. Montessori toys are just amazing

  6. I love the toys - we've got the Pattern blocks from Melissa and Doug for the kids for Christmas

  7. These are wonderful. I love the spiral puzzle, and the play with the shadow game is incredible! Oh, okay, I love them all.

  8. Love wooden toys in general but especially your picks!

  9. My kids are addicted to tangrams! I LOVE the spiral color puzzle and the beehive activity! Thanks for this!

  10. I live in Germany and the toys you recommended look a lot like the toys in the German toy stores. Many here are inspired by Waldorf and Montessori for pre-school age kids. That's a great list.

  11. Thank you! Our kids are having fun and learning new things . This looks like so much fun for them.
